Rhibosome are Dave McKinney, Clayton Chipper, Andrew Selmes, Chad Hedley and George Nikoloudis. Formed at the end of the nineties in their home town of Perth, Australia the band have become a big live draw in their home country. Aside from their own shows they have supported acts such as Ben Harper, Coldcut, Faithless, Groove Armada, The Freestylers and many others.
Their debut single on Freestyle is a mix of house, breakbeat, hip hop and funk. 'Impulse' features the vocals of Libby Hammer on a glorious slice of Modern Sister Funk. 'Get Ready' is an old school party hip hop/breaks throwdown in the same vein as Fort Knox Five and the All Good Funk Alliance.'
