Sirius B were formed in 1998 by Joe & Azhar. They have released three highly acclaimed albums 'Sem Fronteiras', 'Poste Nove' & 'Ouro Batido'. On top of this they have had releases on both of the Snowboy compiled 'Hi-Hat? compilations on Union Square. Last year's 'High and Dry' single on Future World Funk was remixed by Butti 49 and playlisted by Gilles Peterson (Radio 1), Patrick Forge (Kiss FM), Snowboy, Mike Chadwick (Jazz FM) and many others.
The new single on Freestyle Records contains the wild,uptempo Batucada track 'Samba Selvagem' which has been described as a modern day 'Celebration Suite'. We also have the trademark sound of Sirius B on 'Bagunca' featuring the sublime vocals of Azhar over a catchy bossa beat. Lastly we have the album version & Future Fusion Remix of 'Sirius'.'
